Mark Donald Kintz

         Mark Donald Kintz, 55, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in Pima County, Arizona following a truck accident.

          A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 on Monday, June 26, 2023 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for donations to their favorite charities.

          He was born on October 19, 1967, at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Donald and Nancy (Hoppe) Kintz and was a 1986 graduate of Bettendorf High School.  He also attended Scott Community College.

          Mark was employed by Turquoise Trucking Company of Cedar Rapids and loved driving trucks.

          Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Nancy of Bettendorf; his brothers, Kevin (Michelle) Kintz of Bettendorf and Kyle Kintz of Bettendorf; his aunts, Marilyn Whitaker of Eldridge, Iowa and Chlo Hoppe in New Mexico; his uncle, David (Teri) Hoppe of Omaha, Nebraska and several nieces and nephews.

          He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Kintz.
