December 11, 1946 — August 24, 2013
Merrill William “Bucky” Roland, 66, of Davenport, passed away peacefully at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus in Davenport after a long battle with emphysema.
There will be no services held at this time. Memorials may be made to Scott County Humane Society or ASPCA. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
What gave him the most joys in life were animals, watching TV, especially wrestling and playing the slots on the boat.
He is survived by Virginia, whom he affectionately called “His Lady.”
