M. Glenn Fryer Jr., 78, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away Friday May 31 st , 2013 at Trinity Bettendorf.
A Celebration of Life will be held 4-7 PM Tuesday June 4, 2013 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, IA. Memorials can be made to the Mississippi Valley Blood Bank or Boys Club of America.
Glenn was born January 22, 1935 in Arnold, Pennsylvania, the son of M. Glenn and Mary (Provenzano) Fryer Sr. On May 9, 1965 he united in marriage to Gloria Hintermeister in Muscatine, Iowa. Glenn worked as a maintenance manager at Oscar Mayer in Davenport. He also enjoyed volunteering as a driver for the Mississippi Valley Blood Bank. Glenn enjoyed cooking and having coffee with his friends.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife Gloria Fryer; son Mike (Jess) Fryer; daughters Nancy (Jeff) Harrison and Lori Thurlow; brother Don (Barb) Fryer; and grandchildren: Trevor Thurlow, Lucas Thurlow, Colten Harrison, Trenten Harrison, and Jenna Harrison. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents.
