Michael was born on January 21, 1997 in Davenport, the son of Vern and Dietta (Caldwell) Langtimm II. Following high school, he worked as an auto mechanic at various Quad City dealerships and repair shops, and most recently as a line cook at Red Robin. Although Michael loved fixing cars, the highlight of his life was caring for his four children: Arielle and Josiah “JJ” Langtimm, and Ashton and Oliver Nefgzer. He loved all his children dearly. He was a good man and a good dad. In passing, he chose to donate his organs to Iowa Donor Network so that others may live.
Those left to honor his memory are his children; parents, Vern and Dietta Langtimm; longtime companion Chloe Licklider; brothers, Joshua Cole, Randy (Stephanie) Langtimm, and Tyler Langtimm; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
