Patricia P. Oaks, 62, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Trinity at Terrace Park in Bettendorf.
A gathering of remembrance will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to the family.
Patricia was born August 29, 1944 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Fritz & Darlene (Chapin) Schlitter.
Patricia was a life long homemaker who loved animals and helping others.
Those left to honor her memory include her mother, Darlene; her daughters Vicky Jo Jones of Germany and January (Oaks) Siem, and her husband, John, of Bettendorf; her sons, Douglas Oaks and Shawn Oaks, both of Bettendorf; seven grandchildren; one great grand-child; her sister, Linda Johnson, and her husband, Terry, of Coal Valley, Illinois, and her brother, Buster Schlitter of LeClaire, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fritz; and a grandson.
