Penny Skinner

Penny A. Skinner, 63, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at her residence.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

Penny was born in Davenport on December 1, 1958, the daughter of Paul E. and Monie (Weatherly) Mooney Jr.  She graduated from Bettendorf High School, class of 1977.  On September 23, 1977, she married Michael L. Skinner in Davenport.  Penny was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with her family.

Those left to honor her memory are her mother, Monie Mooney of Bettendorf; her children, Amber (David) Ford of Davenport, Michael (Trisha) Skinner of LeClaire, Cody (Bryanna) Skinner of LeClaire, Andrew Skinner of Dubuque; 10 grandchildren; and a brother, Paul Mooney III.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Mooney Jr.; husband, Michael Skinner; and sister, Wendy Mooney.
