Randy Lee Lilly, 53, of LeClaire, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Iowa. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Randy will be laid to rest at Jack’s Cemetery in LeClaire. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
He was born on March 3, 1972, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the son of Robert Spade and Kathleen E. Johnson (now Osborn). Randy worked as a printer and was truly a jack of all trades. Randy had also fully graduated from flight school and solo’d as a pilot. He was known for his hardworking spirit, resourcefulness, and willingness to help others. A devoted Bears fan, he also served his community as a member of the Scott County Cemetery Board for the LeClaire area.
Randy is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kathleen E. and Clark A. Osborn of LeClaire; his sisters, Charlene (Ruben) Spade, and Amelia (Jon) Kundert; his brothers, Wynn (Michelle) Lilly, Mat Spade, and Samuel Osborn; his nieces, Taylor (John) St. Claire, Aquala McCallister, and Alana Kundert; his nephews, Robert Spade, Antjuan McCallister, Travis Lilly, Jacob Scharlau, and Joshua Kundert; his great-nephew, Kai St. Claire, along with three great-nieces and four great-nephews; and beloved family pets, Snoop, Mother Cat, Lulu, and Maxine.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Spade; his sister in infancy, Angela Spade. his uncle, Curtis Johnson; his nephew, Shaun Osborn; and his great-niece, Armiyah.
