In God's perfect timing, Richard J. Miller, 61, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died on Sunday, February 8, 2009.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Bettendorf. Interment will be private. The family will greet friends from 3:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Richard was born in Warren, Ohio on December 10, 1947 to James & Eloise (Ruggles) Miller.
He owned & operated Miller Repair Service in Bettendorf for 30 years.
Richard was a graduate of Davenport Central High School in Davenport, Iowa and was a member of the Iowa National Guard.
His family includes Kitty Miller; Heather, Anton & Audrey Alerte; Karen & Rick Bahr; Julie & Matt Harrer; Jane Meyers and Catana Johnson.
His parents preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
