Rick A. Suiter, 71, of Princeton, Iowa, passed away on August 3, 2026, after a brief battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7th at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Jack’s Cemetery, LeClaire.

He was born December 17, 1954, in Davenport, Iowa to Dorothy M. Campbell and James F. Suiter. He married the love of his life Darlene M. Voss on October 4, 1974 and they had two sons, Kevin and JB.

Rick took pride in his 34 years as a Union Iron worker and his 15 years as a first responder with the Princeton Volunteer Fire Department. He also served as the President of the Board for Jack's Cemetery. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and had a passion for boating and carpentry.

Those left to share his memory are his wife, Darlene; son, Kevin (Kristina); grandchildren, Jaymeson (Raheem), Corbin (Makayla), Kayleigh, Paul, Kaleb; a future great grandchild; siblings, Rusty (Katie), Jimmy (Theresa) and Tina; and stepfather, Gene Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his son, JB, and his parents.
