Rita K. Balzer, 78, of Bettendorf, passed away Tuesday October 29, 2013 at her home.
There will be no formal services held. A Mass Intention will be given on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church in Bettendorf during the Saturday evening Mass. Memorials may be given to the Scott County Humane Society in her memory.
Rita was born on Valentine's Day February 14, 1935 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Vern and Kathryn (Glynn) Wilson.
Rita enjoyed the movies and traveling the world.
Those left to honor her memory include: her daughter, Angie Rotter and son Michael Balzer and her brother Tom Wilson.
