Robert W. Lamphier, 52, a resident of rural Princeton, Iowa died on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport, Iowa.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Chambers Funeral Home of Eldridge. Memorials may be made to the family.
He was born April 9, 1961 in Davenport, the son of George & Madolyn (Duncan) Lamphier. On August 29, 1995, he was united in marriage to Tara L. Burk in Davenport.
Bob was a self-employed construction contractor. He loved hunting, fishing, trapping and the peaceful life along the Wapsi River.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Tara; his daughters, Nikki (Paul Miller Sr.) Lamphier of Davenport and Tonya Lamphier of McCausland, Iowa; his grandchildren, Tatiana Miller, Xavier Miller, Tristan Miller, Paul Miller II and Olivia Barker; his father, George Lamphier of Davenport; his sister, Rebecca Nelson of Daveport; and his nephews, Jay Teter of Bettendorf, Iowa and Andrew Nelson of Davenport.
His mother preceded him in death.
