Rodolfo E. Nardina-Estenos, 74, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
A memorial mass will be held at 2:30 P.M. Saturday, October 20, 2009 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church of Bettendorf. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
He was born August 6, 1935 in Lima, Peru, the son of Rafael & Luz (Estenos) Nardini. On July 30, 1961, he was united in marriage to Luisa Freyre in Lima, Peru.
Rodolfo was an importer/exporter of raw materials for the food industry in Peru before coming to the United States.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Luisa; his daughters, Tatiana Nardini (Blaine) Ballentine of Bettendorf, Katia Nardini of Bettendorf and Jessica Nardini (Mitch) Jager of Bloomington, Illinois; his son, Rudy Nardini of Des Moines, Iowa; six grandchildren; five sisters and two brothers.
He was preceded in death by a sister and by his parents.
