Roger Lee Hahn, 87, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2026 at Bickford Cottage.

Roger was born on January 30, 1939. On December 7, 1956, he was united in marriage to Patty L. Randolph in Monmouth, Illinois, sharing 67 devoted years of marriage prior to her passing in December 2023. Above all else, Roger was a dedicated family man whose greatest passion in life was his family. His deep love, guidance, and support were the foundation of his home. A true man of service, Roger continually gave his time, energy, and heart to caring for his family, serving his church, and supporting his local community whenever there was a need. 

Known for his handiness, resourcefulness, and practical skill, there was truly nothing Roger couldn't fix. Whether repairing what was broken, taking on a complex project, or helping out a neighbor, he approached every task with patience, ingenuity, and a generous spirit. He retired from Alcoa after 41 years. He enjoyed his time with his brothers in "The Memory Makers" band where he shared his love of Gospel music. Roger leaves behind a legacy of selflessness, faith, and devotion. 

He is survived by his family, his son, Roger Hahn Jr. of Aledo, Illinois; his six grandchildren, Kristy, Misty, Eva, Jacob, Caleb and Karli, and his sixteen great-grandchildren; as well as his church family and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patty, and his daughter, Jacqueline Wachtel. His sisters, Flora and Doris. His brothers David (Floyd) and Donald..  \

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. He will be laid to rest at Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the funeral home.   \
