Ronald Dipple

Public visitation for Ronald Henry Dipple, 85, of Davenport, IA will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Those attending are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Private family services will take place a t a later time. Ronald passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home in Davenport.

Ronald was born on December 15, 1935 in Muscatine, IA, the son of Lloyd and Bernice (Spalding) Dipple. He married Lucille A. Sindt in Davenport on July 16, 1955. In his youth he worked as a farmhand, later he worked at Old Mill Ice Cream, and Meadow Lane Dairy, Bettendorf. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his brother Dale and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille, of Davenport, daughters; Becky (Mike) Glaspie, Rhonda (Joseph) Karns, Roseann Dipple, all of Davenport, grandchildren; Matt, James, Nathan and his wife Tammy, Nicole and her husband David, Latisha, Jennifer and her husband Robert, Kelli and her husband Ryan, and Cindell,  20 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, and brothers; Gary Dipple of Muscatine, and Dale Dipple of Montpelier, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Lloyd, his sister Delores Titus and great-grandson, Maysun.
