Ronnie E. Lehman

           Ronnie E. Lehman, 76, of Bettendorf passed away peacefully on Monday, May 8, 2023 at his residence following a brief illness.

            A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 15th at Bettendorf Presbyterian Church.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Inurnment will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to Bettendorf Presbyterian Church or to the family.  McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

            Ronnie was born September 29, 1946 in Davenport, to Albert and Helen (Wanzel) Lehman.  He graduated from Bettendorf High School in 1965.  In 1971, he married Maxine Rice Lee. Following her passing in 1987, he married Eldora Baltzer.  She preceded him in death in 2016.  Ronnie worked as a butcher at L & M Royal Blue, Bettendorf until their closing in 1990.  For the past 32 years, he worked at Golick’s Meat Market, Davenport.  He was a deacon at Bettendorf Presbyterian Church and former member of the Quad City Bowling Association.  Ronnie was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, Cubs, and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

            Those left to honor his memory are his companion, Linda Carrillo of Bettendorf; siblings, Betty Schneekloth of Overland Park, Kansas, Pete (Colleen) Lehman of Bettendorf, Wayne (Jean) Lehman of Bettendorf, Dale (Susie) Lehman of Odessa, Texas, Sandy (Skip) Boldt, Wilton, Iowa, Carol Jansen of Ormond Beach, Florida, Diana (Gary) Werts of Bettendorf and Dick (Chris) Lehman of Granbury, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by siblings, Lois, Rita, and Gary.

The family would like to thank Unity Point Hospice and the congregation at Bettendorf Presbyterian Church for their exceptional care, kindness, and support during this difficult time.
