Sadie M. Williamson

Sadie M. Williamson, 85, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died Saturday, December 6, 2003 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
She was born April 22, 1918 in Westchester, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John & Cora (Bitting) Dean. She was united in marriage to Arnold J. Williamson in 1955 in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Sadie was a homemaker and during World War II, she was employed in a needle factory and following the war, worked in a meat packing company.
She enjoyed antiques, gardening and collecting angels.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Linda McDonnell of Davenport; her sons, Charles Cossaboon of Moline, Illinois, John Cossaboon of Davenport, George Cossaboon of Wheeler, Wisconsin, Arnold Williamson Jr. of Davenport and Robert Williamson of Davenport; twenty-three grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Melissa; her sister, Ida Kane; and her brother, John Dean.
