Graveside services for Sandra Lee Collett, 72, of Davenport, IA, will be 1:00 pm on Friday, July 29, 2022, at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport, IA. Family will greet friends on Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, IA.
Sandra passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Care Center – Davenport, IA.
Sandra was born on October 31, 1949, in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of John and Martha (McRae) Collett. She enjoyed sewing and baking.
Survivors include her daughters; Connie Williamson of Davenport, Kimberly (Nick) Martinez of Ballinger, TX, sons; John Chavez of Rock Falls, IL, Michael (Kelly) Chavez of Del Rio, Tx., several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters; Judy Newton of Davenport, Iowa, Joann Parris of North Carolina, brother; John Collett Jr. of Blue Grass, Iowa, and daughter-in-law; Michelle Chavez of Wilton, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters; Linda Hines, Patricia Richardson, Gloria Burrell, Alice Mae Collett, and brother; Terry Collett.
