Sheila Carrillo

Funeral services for Sheila Rae Carrillo, 71, of Davenport, will be 11:00 am, Monday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport. Family will greet friends on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the funeral home. 

Sheila passed away, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport, surrounded by her family.

Sheila Vance was born on October 22, 1952, at Lutheran Hospital, Moline, IL, the daughter of Donald and Betty Lou (Johnson) Vance. She married Franklin Carrillo on December 6, 1986, in Davenport. Sheila enjoyed crafting and was a member of Westside Assembly of God Church, Davenport. 

Survivors include her husband, Franklin of Davenport, daughter, Tammy (Mark) Sitter of Bettendorf, grandchildren, Brandon Schlieper, Jordan Sitter, Lauren Sitter, Ryan Sitter, great-grandchildren, Talon Schlieper, Oaklynn Mills, sister, Jody (Rich) Ortega of Pleasant Valley, and seven stepsiblings. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Lloyd Marker, and sister, Jacqueline Banks.
