Sonya Lowry

Funeral services for Sonya K. Lowry, 61, of Davenport, will be 10:30 am on Monday at Berean Baptist Church, Davenport. Burial will follow at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Family will greet friends on Monday from 9:30 am to service time at the church.

Sonya passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at her home Davenport.

Sonya was born January 12, 1962, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. She married Michael Lowry on September 6, 1987, in Davenport, Iowa. She worked for Genesis Hospice and as a private caregiver, retiring in 2003. She was a member of Berean Baptist Church, Davenport and former member of First Presbyterian Church, Savanna, Illinois. She enjoyed antiques, going to car shows with Michael, listening to the Beatles and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Michael, of Davenport;her children, Michael Lowry II, Glen Lowry, Nicholas Lowry and Angellette Lowry, all of Davenport; grandchildren, Dannika Lowry, Ahrianna Fullmer, and Jayla Fullmer and mother, Connie Endresak of Davenport, and a brother, Jim Endresak.

She was preceded in death by her father.
