Steven K. Frederick, 38, of Davenport passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 at University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics, Iowa City.

A celebration of Steven’s life will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at his mother’s house, 7627 New Liberty Rd., Walcott.  Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.  As an eye and tissue donor, Steven gave the gift of life to his fellow man.

Steven was born on April 12, 1983, the son of Robert Frederick Jr. and Elberta Karr.  He worked for Kinetic Logistics as a straight truck driver.  Steven had a love for anything with an engine, especially cars and semi-trucks.

Those left to honor his memory are his children, Timothy “L.T.” Bowman and a baby on the way; mother, Elberta (David) Karr of Walcott, Iowa; dad, Jeffrey Elfgen Sr. of Davenport; father, Robert (DeLee) Frederick Jr. of Branson, Missouri; sisters, Brandy (Joseph) Bogle of Nevada, Missouri, Sabrina (Brett) Wehmeier of Davenport, Stephanie (Rala) Frederick of Branson, Jessica (Josh) Frederick of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Jolene (Luke) Stickel of Davenport; brother, Jeffrey (Kerilyn) Elfgen Jr. of Davenport; fiancé, Mandy Moreland of Davenport; maternal grandmother, Betty Karr of Davenport; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, paternal grandparents, and a niece.
