Steven H. Brown

Steven H. Brown, 52, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died suddenly on Friday, May 19, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, May 22, 2006 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Davenport where he was a devoted member. Memorials may be made to the family.
He was born March 20, 1954 in Davenport, the son of Wilmer & Crystal (Street) Brown. On October 4, 1976, he was united in marriage to Mary J. Stebens in Rock Island, Illinois.
Steve was the owner & operator of Steve’s Auto Trim of Davenport. He was a avid fisherman and took great pleasure in buying little gifts for others.
He was a member of AA and along with two close friends, founded the AA Chapter in the west end of Davenport.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Mary; his daughters, Sarah (Cary) Tinkler of Phoenix, Arizona and Rachel (Joseph) Wollett of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Benjamin & Isabella Wollett; and his sisters, Pam (Gary) Andrews of Moline, Illinois and Shelly Simon of Eldridge, Iowa.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents; and by his brother, Tracy.
