Susan Michele (Stahle) Rueter, 61, of Eldridge died Monday, May 6, 2024, at Bettendorf Health Care Center.

Her body was cremated. There will be no services, but a celebration of her life will be held Friday, May 10, 3-8 p.m. at the Whispering Pines enclosed shelter at Scott County Park, 18850 270^th Street, Eldridge, Iowa.

Susie was born Oct. 15, 1962, to Jerry and Kathleen Stahle. She was a 1981 graduate of Bettendorf High School. She previously had been employed at K&K Hardware and Waterfront Deli.

She enjoyed crafting, camping and spending time with her family.

Susie is survived by a son, Brian Frahs of Bettendorf; daughters, Sara Frahs of Winfield and Allison Rueter of Riverton, Ill; a brother, Mike (Amy) Stahle of Bettendorf; sisters Laurie Hoffman of Eldridge, Ann Stahle of Bettendorf, Carolyn (Steve) Petersen of Preston, Kris (Lonny) Kirby of Eldridge and Peggy (Daryl) Welke of Princeton; several aunts and uncles; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
