Violet M. Rice, 76, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at Manor Care Nursing Center, Davenport.
Committal services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at the Pine Hill Cemetery Chapel. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
She was born May 25, 1929 in Davenport and spent most her life as a homemaker and caring for her mother.
Those left to honor her memory include her sister, Dorothy Peterson of Davenport; her brother, Charles Cornish of Bettendorf; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Catherine Davis.
