Bettie Johnson

Bettie L. Johnson, 90, Davenport, died Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Good Samaritan Society.

Per her wishes, no services will be held.  Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Scott County. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.

Bettie was born August 31, 1931 in Millville, Wisconsin, daughter of Raymond and Alice (Gilkes) Degenhardt.  On November 28, 1959 she married George Johnson.  He preceded her in death in 1998.  Bettie was employed at the Rock Island Arsenal for 32 years and retired in 1986.
