Deborah Reeser

Deborah “Debbie” J. Reeser, 71, of Davenport, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

Debbie was born on April 2, 1949 in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Floyd and Patricia (O’Brien) Caldwell.  Prior to her retirement in 2008, she worked as an accounting technician supervisor at the Rock Island Arsenal for 33 years.  Debbie enjoyed playing Bingo and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Those left to honor her memory are her daughter, Patty Reeser of Davenport; sons, Bill (Molly) Reeser of Lisle, Illinois, Wade (Kristy) Reeser of San Diego, California; sisters, Denise (Edward) Shade of Roodhouse, Illinois, Doreen Maynard of Missouri, Dietta (Vern) Langtimm of Davenport; brother, Jerry (Kris) Caldwell of Davenport; sister-in-law, Marilyn Caldwell of Pittsfield, Illinois; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her canine companion, Bella.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Marie Caldwell; and a brother, Floyd Caldwell Jr.
