Monte Lisenbee

Monte Jay LisenBee, 62, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at his home.

The family will greet friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf

Military honors will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  Due to Covid-19, masks are required and social distancing encouraged for all wishing to attend the service.

He was born in California on February 15, 1958, the son of Paul and June (Harding) LisenBee and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict.

For many years, Monte owned and operated LisenBee Builders in the Quad-Cities.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughters, Ashley Lisenbee of Moline and Paula Vandervelde of Davenport; four grandchildren; his mother, June Sauser of Davenport; and his brothers, Dana Lisenbee of Davenport and Mark Lisenbee of Bullhead City, Arizona.

Monte was preceded in death by his sister, Gigi Harding and his father, Paul Lisenbee.
