Myra Woods

Myra J. Woods, 70, of Pleasant Valley, Iowa passed away on April 23, 2021 at Riverview Manor.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday in the chapel at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Davenport.  Those wishing to attend should meet at 2:30 p.m. at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Memorials may be directed to, her daughter, Laleña Wilson, 2550 Sandy Plains Rd, Suite 225-351, Marietta, GA 30066.

Myra was born on November 12, 1950 in Davenport, the daughter of A.C. and Edith (Miller) Stowe.  On February 28, 1970, she was united in marriage to Joseph A. Woods at First Christian Church in Davenport.

Those left to honor her memory are her children, Joseph Woods II of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Laleña (Howard Stentz III) Wilson of Marietta, Georgia; her grandchildren, David Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Kasha (Brandon) Woods-Carden, Khylan (Travis) Woods, Audrey Wilson and Maxwell Woods; her great-grandchildren, Jordan Puckett, Cecilia Nelson, MaKenna Puckett, Jaylin Puckett and Jensen Carden; and her brother, Lawrence Stowe and Art Stowe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and her son-in-law, William Wilson.
